- 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, season the chicken evenly with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add half the chicken in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 4 minutes, until golden brown and easily released from the skillet. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes or until fully cooked. Transfer to a plate. Melt 1 more tablespoon of butter in the skillet and repeat with the remaining chicken.
- Step 3: Reduce the heat to low. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
- Step 4: Return all the chicken and any juices on the plate to the skillet. Toss to coat the chicken in the garlic butter.
- Step 5: Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until the chicken is well coated. Sprinkle with the chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese as desired.
- Step 6: Serve warm with your favorite sides like rice, pasta, or a fresh green salad. Enjoy!
