Ingredients

- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp table salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup M&M’s (+ more for the tops of the cookies)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees & line 2-3 large baking sheets with parchment & set aside.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, cream your butter & both sugars together until whipped & well combined.
- Step 3: Mix in eggs & vanilla.
- Step 4: Add in the flour, baking soda & salt & mix well.
- Step 5: Fold in chocolate chips & M&M’s.
- Step 6: Use a large cookie scoop & scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 7: Bake 8-10 minutes or until the tops are just barely golden brown.
- Step 8: Remove from the oven & immediately place additional M&M’s into the tops of the cookies, pressing lightly to make sure they get a bit melty.
- Step 9: Allow to cool another 2-5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to continue to cool to room temperature.
- Step 10: Once cooled, transfer to an airtight container & store at room temperature.
